PE Examinations offered by NCEES such as Civil, Electrical and Computer, Architectural (Apr. only), Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering (Apr. only) will be available in Japan.

*Oct. only:Control Systems , Metallurgical and Materials .

Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical and Electrical and Computer (Power) exam are year-round computer-based testing (CBT).

Nuclear, Petroleum, Fire Protection, Industrial and Systems exam, Agricultural and Biological Engineering, Electrical and Computer (Computer Engineering), Electrical and Computer (Electronics, Controls, and Communications) and Mining and Mineral Processing are single-day (October,2021) computer-based testing (CBT). For CBT, download and refer to “Instructions for Applicants, PE Exam (CBT) in 2021”.

Structural examination will take two days, and not available in Japan.

To the person who is planning to take an examination for a FE test and a PE test by CBT.
In order to keep "Social distancing" recommended by WHO, the seat arrangement will be rearranged with enough space and the operation is continued by the half number of seats. Therefore, examinees of the certain test reservation may be canceled. A repayment (When it was paid for Pearson VUE.) or the postponement measure is applied to the examinee when the test has been canceled or postponed.
The situation change may be expected in many cases, so please be sure to check it to Pearson VUE directly.

Further, cancellation of Pearson VUE is cancellation of a test place, not cancellation of taking an examination application to JPEC.
Even when having canceled the Pearson VUE, the application is still effective.
When there is a problem, please inquire to JPEC.
